Like everyone else, I'm good and some things and not-so-good at others. I have a wide variety of interests but I wouldn't say I'm exceptionally fantastic at them. As the old saying goes, I'm a jack of all trades but a master of none. Still, I enjoy what I do—both work and leisure—so I'm quite happy.

ICT

Information and Communications Technology has always fascinated me. It's quite a large field any my interests in it are also quite wide.

For example, I'm interested in web design and run a number of websites (including this one, obviously). I also am interested in how ICT can be used to help people learn and I'm always reviewing and testing various iPad applications, new programmes and websites.

I also make support how-to videos to help people, although these are mostly used for work and aren't available publicly (sorry). How to use Microsoft Word, Apple Pages, setting up iPads, using certain apps and video conferencing are just some of the videos I've created to help people become more confident and proficient.

Music

From a young age, I've been involved in music. I play keyboards (organ/piano), sing and I'm an expert on the triangle!

My taste in music? Well, I suppose it's all a matter of personal taste, isn't it? I would say my taste in music is eclectic; my friends would probably say it's just weird. I like country rock (Rascal Flatts, Dixie Chicks), classical (Fauré is my favourite), Disney songs (and so do you, even if you don't want to admit it), musicals, 80s pop and so on.

Photography & Travel

I love taking photographs. Whether they be large, outdoor photos or a close-up of a leaf, I enjoy sharing what I'm seeing with others. At the moment (Nov '12), I have over 200 000 photographs and I really need to get them online. Watch this space!

Perhaps not surprisingly as I was born and raised there, I have many photographs of Canada, particularly my home town (London, Ontario) and around Québec City (my favourite place in the world). 

Of course, I have many photographs of other places I visit frequently. I've taken many photographs in Scotland, where I now live. I also visit France often and I enjoy taking pictures of my favourite haunts there.

I also enjoy all the food there but that's another story!
